Bible study discussion group will resume when the Summer season begins in early May. When it resumes, the study group meets on Thursday, 10:30 am, at Crossroads Church Coffee shop, located at intersection of Big Tree and Clyde Morris. Questions call Norm Ford @ 386-315-2898.
Ron Redick was inducted into the "National Senior Softball Hall of Fame (HOF)" in November, 2023. Ron is a snowbird from Dublin, Ohio (suburb of Columbus) who began playing in the GDBSSA leagues in 1997 and continues playing in the senior 70's league in his soon-to-be 87th year. In addition, he has played for or been player/manager of teams in state and national tournaments for over 25 years.
A ceremony celebrating Ron's membership in the HOF will be held at the SPA (Softball Players Association) World Championships, Columbus, Ohio, August 6-9, 2024.
"In Search of Gold", a memoir of a NYPD Gold Shield Detective, was written by Dean Palamara, a current GDBSSA player, who has played with us for over 20 years.
