History of the League
Charlie Dixon started the Senior Softball movement in the Daytona area in 1983 by forming the initial tournament teams.
Mike Foglio and Jim Goodwin were the driving force in development of the Greater Daytona Beach Senior Softball Assn. in the early 90’s, and the leagues that we now enjoy.
He managed teams, which played in Deland leagues. He later became involved with the Half Century Club.
We SALUTE our founders, our present and former players, as well as pay tributes to former workers and players.
