Congratulations! Terry O'Donnell has been selected for induction into the 2025 National Senior Hall of Fame Class
NOTICE: Norm Ford informed us that he is retiring as a player and as the League's Chaplain where he has served for the past 15 years. Please join us in thanking Norm for his years of service as our Chaplain and for playing this kids' game along with the rest of us! We all wish him well! Thank you, Norm!!
Ron Redick was inducted into the "National Senior Softball Hall of Fame (HOF)" in November, 2023. Ron is a snowbird from Dublin, Ohio (suburb of Columbus) who began playing in the GDBSSA leagues in 1997 and continues playing in the senior 70's league in his soon-to-be 87th year. In addition, he has played for or been player/manager of teams in state and national tournaments for over 25 years.
A ceremony celebrating Ron's membership in the HOF will be held at the SPA (Softball Players Association) World Championships, Columbus, Ohio, August 6-9, 2024.
"In Search of Gold", a memoir of a NYPD Gold Shield Detective, was written by Dean Palamara, a current GDBSSA player, who has played with us for over 20 years.
